Like most winemakers, I know that the quality of the wine in the glass is decided by the quality of the fruit in the vineyard. For Barossa Babe, I use only grapes from old vines. Not 20 or 30 years old. I'm talking seriously old, perhaps some of the oldest vines in Australia, up to 140 years old!
So, why Barossa Babe? Well, this wine was my secret project. How could I turn my back on such brilliant old Barossa vines. The opportunity was irresistible! I love it... and I'm thrilled to introduce to you my 'Barossa Babe.'
